Ceilidh Distillery was founded in 2018 in Longyan, Fujian Province, with a vision to craft world-class whisky and gin rooted in place and purpose. As one of China’s emerging craft distilleries, we are driven by the belief that true character begins with a sense of origin—of nature, of heritage, and of story.

Fujian is home to the highest forest coverage in China, and Longyan leads the province with an impressive 83.5%. Nestled at the foothills of Xiaochi Mountain, our distillery is surrounded by lush forest and pristine springs. The water we use is drawn from natural sources that have been filtered for centuries through ancient igneous and sedimentary rock, giving our spirits their distinct clarity and structure.

Ceilidh’s story is also deeply personal. Our founder, Judy, traces her roots to Longyan, where her grandfather left the village at the age of 13 to seek opportunity in Southeast Asia, always holding onto the dream of one day returning home. Ceilidh Distillery honors that legacy—a return to one's roots, a tribute to heritage, and a journey that brings together past and future in every bottle we craft.
